Kariba Bush Club Activity Rates

Lwiimbo Lwa Zambezi Safaris (trading as Kariba Bush Club) is based on the property of
Zongwe Farming Enterprises, the largest crocodile farm in Zambia and certainly one of the largest
commercial Nile crocodile farms in the world. A visit to us is definately incomplete without a tour of this
impressive farm. Unlike crocodile farms run purely for tourism, our guided tour is very different in the
sense that we explain all the operational, business and conservation aspects of commercial Nile crocodile
farming as well as giving you the chance to enjoy the excitement of feeding the adult crocs. The breeding
dams that stock over 2500 breeders (adult crocodiles) are spectacular in themselves - all left completely
natural and boasting a haven of birdlife ñ over 200 species have been documented so far, including 14
African Fish Eagle in 1 tree alone.

What better way to wind down the day than a stress-free sunset cruise on magnificent Lake Kariba, one
of the largest man-made dams in the world that covers over 5000 square kilometres. Our 3 hour cruise
takes you along the shores of private islands home to a large variety of wildlife that includes eland, kudu,
reedbuck, impala, common duiker, zebra, wildebeest, Defasa waterbuck, hippo, warthog, bushpig and
more like occasional elephants that swim from island to island in search of food.
Or how about something a little more exciting like a day out fishing around the islands in search of the infamous game fish - the
Tiger, known not only for its beauty but also for the impressive fight on the end of your line! Fishing rods and tackle can be supplied.
