Sunsets on Lake Kariba
To experience the magnificence of a sunset on Lake Kariba, take a sunset cruises on Lake Kariba. Therse are always spectacular…the vast, untouched magnificence of Kariba, the many islands, the surrounding valley that wraps elegantly around the lake’s shores as well as the abundance of both wildlife and birdlife always leaves people feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and appreciative of the world around us. Wildlife to be seen include impala, reedbuck, defasa waterbuck, eland, kudu, hartebeest, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, bush-pig, chacma baboons, hippos, crocodiles and occasional elephants, to name a few. We also offer clients the option of a “dinner cruise”. This entails a sunset cruise combined with an early dinner on one of our private islands. Wine and dine under the African skies, whilst surrounded by nature, Lake Kariba and all the sights and sounds that go with them.
EXCITING FESTIVE SEASON HAPPENINGS AT KARIBA BUSH CLUB THIS YEAR
Come and join us at Kariba Bush Club for a fun-filled, exciting and memorable festive season this year! We will have loads going on over Christmas and New Year!
*A full moon evening cruise on Lake Karia from 5pm – 8pm on 21 December, inclusive of sundowner snacks & a scrupmtious dinner on board. A cash bar will be available.
*A beach BBQ on an island on Lake Kariba for Christmas Eve, from 4pm – 7pm. Sundowner snakcs & dinner included. Volleyball, beach cricket and a safe swimming area will be arranged. This is fun not to be missed!
*A hearty Christmas dinner of whole pig on the spit, served with stacks of delicious accompaniments, including potato and vegetable dishes, breads and salads. Dessert to follow!
*Festive and filling full buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be served throughout the Christmas break.
*Loads for the kids to enjoy including a jungle gym and trampoline, a slip n slide, a swimming pool, volleyball, pond fishing, organized games for them on Christmas day & more!
