Our private rooms and dormitory are set back from the water amongst pretty gardens and natural vegetation, are simply furnished, yet cozy. All creature comforts like linen and towels are provided and a communal ablution block is located close to the rooms, making them ideal for travelers on a lower budget still wanting to experience Lake Kariba at her best. These rooms are also ideally located close to all the lodge’s main facilities including the swimming pool, volleyball court and restaurant.
Eva Houseboat

Eva Houseboat is small and cozy, sleeping 4 – 6 people. The boat is made up of two private cabins, a lounge, kitchen and open air upper-deck dining area. All the interior floors are carpeted and the boat is elegantly decorated, an African theme subtly showing through on scatter cushions, picture frames hanging from the walls and hand-painted crockery. Card and board games like Monopoly and Scrabble are available on the boat. What better way to play one of these – your closest friends around you, while sitting on a shaded top deck of a houseboat, cold drink in hand, the never-ending beauty of Lake Kariba and the surrounding valley sprawled around you in every direction you may choose to look.
Luxury Chalets

Our luxury chalets are perfect for those seeking comfort, privacy and tranquility. These canvas-and-thatch style chalets are each built on wooden decks facing east along a gentle ridge overlooking Lake Kariba. Each chalet is en-suite with a dressing room, a toilet and a shower. Each chalet also has its own private verandah with deck chairs and a tea and coffee station. Enjoy spectacular views and early sunrises from your verandah, while watching the animals feeding around and below. Wildlife to be seen includes bushbuck, puku, impala, duiker, zebra, bush-pig, warthog, ostrich and the ever-so-inquisitive monkeys, to name a few.
Baobab Guesthouse (sleeps 6)

Baobab House is a double-storey thatched cottage built atop a ridge alongside a massive Baobab Tree. This house sleeps 6 people, is equipped with DSTV and offers private parking. It has shown to be a favourite amongst guests, with its large verandah elegantly wrapping around the front of the house, showing off the spectacular views of Lake Kariba that this house has to offer. Facing west, it is perfectly situated allowing guests to watch the infamous sunsets over Kariba without having to move further than the verandah. It is also ideally located in the sense that it is a mere 100m walk from the main lodge swimming pool yet still tucked away in its own corner, maintaining that true feeling of tranquility and privacy.
Marula Guesthouse (sleeps 10)

House is fully furnished, self contained, equipped with DSTV, provides private parking and offers amazing views of Lake Kariba.
Marula House is a farm-style house with a side cottage, gracefully shaded by a group of Marula Trees. This house sleeps 10 people, is equipped with DSTV and offers private parking. Facing east, the front verandah of this house is the perfect place to enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee while enjoying an early morning sunrise, always spectacular to see over water. This house is within short walking distance from the main lodge, perfectly maintaining that feeling of seclusion and serenity. Marula House also has its own private swimming pool and shaded BBQ area, ideal for those who wish to self-cater.

Kholisa Houseboat is a large boat; 19 metres long and 3 storeys high, able to accommodate up to 30 people. The boat is made up of 13 cabins, most of which are en-suite and air-conditioned. There is also a large kitchen, spacious dining and entertainment area as well as a bar, along with a splash pool and an upper sun deck with loungers. The boat is self contained for groups who wish to self-cater and there is a large gas BBQ on board, but for those who prefer their food to be cooked on an open fire, a traditional BBQ and charcoal can be supplied. The bar has an MP3 compatible CD player with surround sound and there is plenty of fridge and freezer space. Fishing rods and tackle can also be supplied for those who wish to try their luck; fish by day for bream and Tiger, by night for barble and Vundu. Cards and various board games like Monopoly and Scrabble are available for your entertainment. Kholisa Houseboat is the perfect choice for large groups of friends and family, for get-togethers, parties, business meetings and workshops or simply for anyone who would like to appreciate Lake Kariba’s beauty to its fullest.
Camping
Self Catering $5 per person / night
A large, shaded campsite is available for those who enjoy doing their own thing. The campsite is set back from the water’s edge, but still within easy walking distance of the main lodge and Kariba Bush Club’s various facilities including the swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Ablutions, BBQ areas and power-points are all available within easy reach of the different campsites.
